We have been advised that a State Cabinet Committee on Friday afternoon determined to support the UFU log of claims as adjusted by Industrial Commissioner Roe’s recommendations and is seeking to force the Minister to ensure it is accepted by the CFA Board against their wishes.
Volunteers and our communities have been deprived a voice and the Premier’s process has failed volunteers and the
communities we protect.
It is now time to take stand.
A Mass Meeting will be held tomorrow (Sunday) in the Melbourne CBD at 1pm at Treasury Gardens.
Members and all Victorians are encouraged to attend tomorrow to show support for CFA Volunteers in our time of need. You are encouraged to bring family, friends and the general public.
We are after people – not trucks. Full details will be advised ASAP –
and planning is now occurring at
For the general public - please come and join us and show your support for CFA volunteers. Bring your families and friends - all are welcome.
